The Department of Rolling Stock System provides differentiated curriculums and faculty suitable for training in rolling stock system technology, which promotes a safe and environmentally friendly means of transportation. We offer high-quality lectures and guidance on dissertations through joint operation of the courses with the Korea Railway Research Institute, which retains the best railway experts in Korea, and promote practical research by aligning dissertational studies with governmental and private railway projects. In particular, our efforts are focused on high-speed and light train design technologies, safety improvement technologies to reduce train accidents, maintenance and technology policies for operational costs reduction and improved efficiency, and new technologies such as high-speed train, LTR, and magnetic levitation trains. By integrating research with education, we provide more effective training programs for developing highly professional experts who will lead future railway technologies.
